Forty years ago, Anthony Jones had a vision – if you’ll excuse the intended pun – and the doors to A.A. Jones Optical opened on Upper Wellington Street. The then recently arrived immigrant from Scotland was about to begin a new chapter in his life and today the book remains open. Together with his son, Mark, who joined the practice in 1983 and who now operates this family-run business, the Joneses continue to meet the eye care needs of customers from Hamilton and the surrounding Greater Toronto Area.
Mark Jones says, “I can’t stress strongly enough how important it is to give patients top-notch service. I look at it this way: Quality patients deserve quality care. Any successful business has always placed the customer first and that’s what we pride ourselves on – strong customer service.”
The combination of skilled professionalism, designer eyewear, and devotion to service, is a recipe that should see A.A. Jones satisfying customers for another 40 years.
